Hi John, the order arrived today and thanks for checking in. I really
appreciate it. I've ordered from Thermo-Pad a couple of times for
myself and my wife, this order was for friends who were over for a
potluck dinner about 10 days ago. One of the ladies had a severe leg
cramp and I grabbed the Thermo-Pads and when she saw how much heat it
produced and how quickly, she asked me to order one for her. Others at
the dinner asked to see them, and I got two more orders from the other
couples at the table.
Sharon & I love ours, particularly now that the cold weather is

The package arrived safely, thank you. I was so
happy that you included the hand warmer as a gift, thank you. I
purchased the thermo-pad to use as a castor oil pack warmer for
treating thyroid. (Ayurvedic treatment for hypothyroidism). I didn't
order the hand warmer because I thought it would not be big enough, but
it is. It would be better if it were 1/2 inch shorter on one dimension
and 1/2-1 inch longer in the other (which would probably work for hands
as well) but it works just fine. I put a small cloth soaked with caster
oil on the thyroid area, cover it with the hand warmer and tie it in
place with a scarf. Works like a charm and hopefully my thyroid will
soon as well.
The larger one will go to good use I am sure.

safely about an hour ago and we appreciate your gift of an extra hand

Our first
Thermo-pads were purchased from a Dive Consignment store on 4th Ave in
Vancouver around 1990 when we were both still diving in wet suits. Both
pads were then used for non diving purposes and lasted until a year ago
when one of them finally surrendered to old age but the other one is
still in active use, a testimony to the quality of your product.

against bare skin, but I didn't find it too hot to do so. If

maximum temperature, what's the risk there?

The reason your product appealed to me so much is that we
live on a boat and usually anchor out, without power, for at least 2
months of
the year. However, boiling water at a rapid boil for 15-20
minutes can
contribute to dampness and mildew problems, especially in colder
weather.
So, my question is: If I boil water first and put it into
a large
slowcooker on high, with the lid on, do you think that would be enough
to
liquefy and reactivate? It would be at a simmering temperature
and could
be left alone for longer without causing excessive steam in the boat.
"To
recharge the pads
the water only has to be simmering, a slow cooker on high would be hot
enough
to melt the crystals.The
instructions call for boiling the water then reduce the heat to medium
and
let simmer."
<>Again, I'm very impressed with the potential of the

doors show, I find them very handy for aches and pains when out

Thanks so much for following up on my question about traveling with the
Thermo-pads. We will be leaving on our trip from Atlanta to San Diego
on 1/20. I'll definitely let you know how things go with airport
security so that you can pass the info along to others. My daughter got
a note from her doctor written on his prescription pad stating that the
Thermo-pads were a medical necessity in order for her to fly.

I’ve used the Thermo-Pads for the first time yesterday. I
was very impressed. It was the warmest under ice dive I can remember.
We spent 80 minutes in the water. If you add to that the
30
minutes doing last minute things before entering the water , the
Pads gave me
warmth for over two hours and where still warm when I got undressed.
I am really satisfied with the products.

Little did I realize how yellowed with age
my thermo pad had
become till your pristine clear/white ones arrived. That any
vinyl
still holds its contents after over fifteen years of repeated boilings
is the amazement.
I appreciated the expanded instructions and tips,
especially
storing the pad in the liquid state Whicb brings me to my
only
dismay: what do I store it in? The last went faithfully
back in its
now tattered cardboard packaging that fit it like a glove-I could stand
it up on its edge in front of the cabinet within easy reach in the
middle of the night and nothing could get inadvertently laid on it,
activating or puncturing it. If no more of the
individual boxes how
do you store yours?

believe Im doing this I decry all the useless, excess packaging
that
stuff comes in and Im lamenting that my new thermal pads don't have
their neat little package to nest in!]
I also appreciated the
thousand and one
uses which I'd never thought of before (may have to send some pads to

pads. Water temp. was 63F with a max. depth of 31ft. It was a very
short dive time wise due to zero visibility. However the pads kept us
comfortably warm. I am planning to use them again in two weeks on a
100ft dive at lake Travis in Austin TX. My dive buddy from Sunday is
very interested in the pads. So I've sent her the link to your site.

(I got 4 of the 4" x 4" pads) Last night I walked to meet friends
and took 2 for the way over and 2 for the way back. When I took

(or doula.) I am hired by women having a home or hospital birth
in
which they want some other labor support besides their partner.
Heating
pads are a great tool but in the hospital electrical outlets are
usually
off-limits so electric heating pads are out and the type that need to
be
heated in a mircowave (like the rice filled bags) are inconvenient
because
you have to go run and find a microwave somewhere or bother the
nurses.
The thermo-pads are great because I can keep them in my birth bag and
activate

a "home show" in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The first time I tried to

the pad, it got a hole in it. That company would replace it for
