I keep Thermo-Pads in my astro-photography kit, since dew is such a problem in the field at night. Sometimes I put a Pad in with my eyepieces when dewing is especially bad. Since they put out ample heat, I activate and leave them inside bubble pack sleeves to slow them down --to last late into the night.

Hi John,
I have attached two pictures of my wife and I using the pads while SCUBA diving in San Diego, CA. In ~ 50 F water!.
PS-The heaters are awesome for diving and we are really happy with them!
